Wow, another four months have flown by and we're half way through the year already! How did that happen?! I hope all is well and you are seeing some sort of normality, or rather a new normal, returning?
If you have followed my recent posts, you will know that Evie was due to have a bone marrow transplant in April to treat her leukaemia. It all went ahead as planned and after a rather tumultuous couple of months, we can see a teeny tiny light at the end of a very long tunnel! The transplant was a success but didn't come without its share of challenges. It has had a number of side effects on her organs, the main being her stomach. She is now receiving a dialysis type treatment which is literally performing magic on her blood that will allow for the final stage of her recovery. We are all keeping our fingers and toes (and everything else!) crossed so that she might be home over the summer. She continues to amaze us with her progress, determination and resilience and has even asked when she can go back to school!
During that time making very much went on the back burner, but it doesn't stop my head from coming up with all sorted of new ideas (usually at 3am when trying to sleep!!) so I am hoping to have some of these realised for you in time for the festive season (yes, I am already thinking about the C word!)
My online shops are now open and stocked with a selection of firm favourites and there may be a new Sale section too if you're looking to bag yourself a bargain. My commission books are closed for now, other than those already agreed, but if you have grand plans later in the year then please do not hesitate to get in touch and we can plan ahead together.
