Delivery, Returns and Refunds


UK - All UK shipping is FREE. Your jewellery will be posted via Royal Mail Special Delivery, or 1st Class Recorded (Signed for) depending on the value of your item. Both provide a tracked service for delivery within 1 - 2 days following dispatch and will require a signature on receipt. Smaller items will be sent Royal Mail First Class and should also be with you in 1 - 2 working day following dispatch. 

International - Any non-UK orders are sent via Royal Mail International Tracked and/or Signed depending on what services are available in the country of delivery. Royal Mail aims to deliver in 3 - 5 working days, however please allow for any local delays. International delivery is £10 and provides a fully tracked service.

Please note, some countries may apply import duties and fees. You as the customer are responsible for covering any duty fees applied by your country upon delivery.

This is particularly relevant for members of the EU as VAT fees have been introduced since the UK's exit from the EU. These fees often come with a significant admin fee payable to the courier or postal carrier. Please be aware of this prior to ordering.


Should you not be entirely happy with your purchase and would like to return or exchange your item, you can do so in line with the Returns Policy below.

If your jewellery arrives faulty, damaged or incorrect, please get in touch and you can request a refund or exchange for a replacement, with any additional postage costs refunded for returning the faulty item. 

You have 30 days from receipt of your item to request a refund or exchange. Please do not return your item without contacting Kate Wimbush jewellery in the first instance. 

You must return your item unused and in the same condition that you received it, including gift boxes where applicable, and provide proof of purchase.

Several types of goods are exempt from being returned:

  • Anything that’s made to your specific requirements (outside of standard options offered by Kate Wimbush Jewellery)
  • Is personalised or otherwise can't be resold due to a bespoke element.
  • Creative pieces that are specially commissioned when you place an order

To avoid disappointment, please get in touch to check whether your item is refundable before ordering.

There are certain situations where partial refunds may be granted:

  • Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error
  • Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery

Please note that you are liable for any diminished value of the product resulting from the handling of the product in any way other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the product while you are responsible for it.


Once we have received your returned item, we will send you email notification and confirm if or when you will receive a refund. If eligible, your refund will be issued within 2-3 working days of receipt of item.

Please post your return using a tracked method of delivery with the appropriate insurance level and obtain proof of postage. You are responsible for shipping costs for returning your item, shipping costs are non-refundable unless the item is faulty.


If you need to exchange your item for a different size, please contact us within 30 days of receiving your order. You can then return your purchase and we will notify you when your new piece of jewellery is on its way. Please post your item to exchange using using a tracked method of delivery with the appropriate insurance level and obtain proof of postage. We will not send out your exchange until the original order has been returned.
